How the event will run: This is an optional event ran by the White Rose View cite team. You can arrive and leave at anytime during the event. Free churros will be given out at the event. You are encouraged to socialise with other students at the event and your cite team.

Join in to meet new people over some team and snacks!
The common room is wheelchair accessible.
How will the event run: This is an optional event. You can arrive and leave at anytime during the event. Free hot drinks and snacks will be provided. This is your opportunity to meet other students that live in White Rose View.
Therapy Dogs
Wednesday 17th September 11am - 1pm

Come and meet retired guide dogs for some pet therapy!
The Common Room is fully wheelchair accessible.
How this event will run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required. At this event you can expect to meet 2 or 3 guide dogs. You will be able to socialise with the dogs and pet them. You will be able to join at any time between 11am - 1pm and you can leave at any time.
Chocolate Fountain
Saturday 20th September 12pm - 3pm

How this event will run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required. There will be a chocolate fountain that you can use. This is your opportunity to meet other students that live in White Rose View. You can arrive and leave at anytime during the event.

How this event will run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required. All the craft materials will be provided. This is your opportunity to meet other students that live in White Rose View. You can arrive and leave at anytime during the event.
Bowling at Tenpin
Tuesday 23rd September from 6pm
Meet at the bowling alley, at Merrion Centre
Join in for a chance to meet new people and play bowling! Sign up and tickets are required

The entrance to Tenpin can be made wheelchair accessible via a chair lift.
How the event will run: This is an optional event, to attend you will need to sign up and show your ticket when you arrive. You will meet at the bowling alley, which is located in the Merrion Centre in the Leeds City Centre. You will be able to play 2 games of bowling. You will be able to leave at any time. Socialising is encouraged in this event.
Mandatory Welcome Talk
Thursday 25th September from 5 pm
Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre, Michael Sadler Building
Mandatory welcome talk delivered by your warden to introduce you to the residence
Michael Sadler has an accessible entrance on the West side of the building, near to a circular courtyard. There are wheelchair spaces at the front of the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre. An accessible toilet is located next to the female toilets in Michael Sadler building, on the same level as the lecture theatre.
How the event will run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, student support and opportunities. The talk is mandatory for all residents.
