Free BBQ food, drinks and music!

How will this event run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required to enter. From 4pm free BBQ food will be served. At this event you will have an opportunity to meet and socialise with other students who live at CitySide. Residence Life Assistance will also be there if you have any questions about events or life in Halls. You can stay for as long as you would like and at any point you can leave.
Mandatory Warden Welcome Talk & Free Ice cream
Tuesday 23rd September from 3.30pm

Grab a free ice cream before attending a Welcome Talk by your Residence Life Warden!
Outside of Cityside is fully wheelchair accessible.
There is a wheelchair accessible lift to enter Conference Auditorium 1. The porter on site will be able to assist with the lift if required. Accessible toilet facilities are located on the ground floor to the left as you enter.
How will the event run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, support and opportunities. Before this talk there will be an ice cream van parked at your residence and this will encourage socialising, chatting and meeting other people from your building. The ice cream van will be there from 3.30 pm to 5pm but you can go and get a free ice cream at any point in that timeframe. The talk starts at 5.30pm and is mandatory for all residents.
Guide Dogs
Wednesday 1st September 3pm - 5pm

At this event you will have an opportunity to meet guide dogs and socialise with other students who live at CitySide. You can expect to see 3 guide dogs at this event. You can stay for as long as you would like and at any point you can leave.
