Mandatory Welcome Talk
Sunday 21st September from 7pm
The Refectory, Leeds University Union
Join the mandatory talk to get more information about your accommodation, followed by a free meal at the Refectory
Entry to venue: The Refectory is accessible via a ramp at the front entrance, and inside the venue there is step free access throughout.
Accessible toilet: An accessible toilet is located inside Leeds University Union in the foyer area, near to the Refectory.
How this event will run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, support and opportunities. This event will include dinner and drinks and will encourage socialising, chatting and meeting other people from your residence. The talk is mandatory for all residents.
Bowling at Tenpin
Tuesday 23rd September from 6pm
Meet at Charles Morris Reception
Charles Morris Hall are hosting a welcome bowling night at Tenpin Leeds. Come with you new flatmates or join to meet fellow residents at Charles Morris. Meet in Charles Morris Reception at 6pm and we’ll walk down to the bowling alley together. Spaces are limited so grab yourself a ticket!

The entrance to Tenpin can be made wheelchair accessible via a chair lift.
How the event will run: This is an optional event, to attend you will need to sign up and show your ticket when you arrive. You will be able to play 2 games of bowling. You will be able to leave at any time. Socialising is encouraged in this event.
Welcome BBQ
Thursday 25th September 5pm - 7pm
Outside Storm Jameson and Reception
Join in for a free BBQ and a chance to meet people from your residence!
There is step-free access to the courtyard.
How this event will run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required to attend. From 5 pm free BBQ food will be served. At this event you can chat and socialise with other students living in Charles Morris. You can stay for as long as you would like and at any point you can leave.
Crafts & Conversations
Wednesday 1st October 5pm - 7pm
Charles Morris Common Area
Join in to meet people living at your residence over a craft session!
There is step-free access to the common area.
How the event will run: This is an optional event and tickets are not required to attend. You can arrive and leave at any time during the event. You can expect a chill craft session, with craft materials provided. At this event you can chat and socialise with other students living in Charles Morris.
Movie Night
