Hello, and welcome to your new home!
My name is Yasmeen and I’ve worked at the University since 2018, as a Communications Officer for arts and research projects. I also am involved in the music and art scene in Leeds – so if you want to learn about what this creative city has to offer, I'm your girl!
I carry my role as a warden in addition to my full-time job at the University. My role as a warden is to support, guide, and ensure you have a great time living in your new home, while also keeping you safe and looked after.
Throughout your time at here, I will support you with any issues that may arise in collaboration with Unipol.
We will be looking to build a social committee – which you will find out how to sign up for. This is a great opportunity to organise events, learn new skills, make new friends and build a sense of community.
Living in shared halls is a unique experience, and one that will stay with you forever. So let’s make the time that you have with us is full of positive and life-lasting memories.
We’ve been working hard organising many fun events for welcome week – from creative and artistic activities to free pizza and coffee! Many of you will be travelling from all over the world, and I'm really excited for your new journey in Leeds.
